Yongzheng Li is a Design Director of UUA (United Units Architects) Beijing office, being responsible for the design creation and quality control of the office. He gained his Master¡¯s Degree in Architecture from Bartlett School of Architecture, University College London, with commendations for both design and thesis. He joined Foster and Partners in London upon graduating, and was involved in a range of international projects including the new Apple Park in California. Yongzheng is deeply committed to innovation in building technology and details, and he is also interested in how cultural narratives are reflected in building design. Since he cofounded UUA Beijing office in 2012, Yongzheng has continuously combined his personal interest with the practice of the office, and shaped the core design philosophy of UUA.

Qizhi Li¡¯s primary responsibility is the general management and operation of UUA Beijing office. As a Partner, he has been involved at many different levels in a wide range of UUA¡¯s projects, with special focus on design management and contract administration. Besides his management role, Qizhi is also a prominent designer. With the 1st ranking, he has been enrolled by the postgraduate course of Tsinghua University, and received a master¡¯s degree in architecture. Qizhi is especially proficient in the strategic and schematic design of commercial complexes, hotels, and tourism real estate, having won a number of international and domestic architectural design competitions. Aiming to maximize the client¡¯s interests and social benefits, he always endeavors to provide multi-strategy design solutions.

Following 17 years at the architectural practice of Rogers Stirk Harbour and Partners, and being a past student of the MSc AAS course (University College London), Tim has more recently looked to consolidate his knowledge and experience by redirecting his career interests towards China. With 2014 bringing a move to China, Tim now occupies his position as Design Director at UUA Beijing office. His evidence based approach creates architectural design that not only responds to the complexities of local client requirements and user demands, but remains sustainable within the constraints of the rapid transformation of the urban realm. This quantitative approach, coupled with the design professionals knowledge and intuition, allows design decisions to be reached that better respond to the unique requirements each project presents.
